If you love talking about books on Instagram but constantly find yourself wondering what the heck am I supposed to post today? you’re definitely not alone.

Coming up with new Bookstagram ideas can sometimes feel harder than actually creating the post.

You want to post consistently, but you don’t want every post to be another picture of your current read. You want people to comment and actually talk to you. And most importantly, you want your Bookstagram to feel like you.

That’s exactly why I created my FREE 30 Day Romantasy Bookstagram Challenge.

For 30 days, I’ll send one creative Bookstagram prompt straight to your inbox each day, created specifically for readers who love romantasy and fantasy romance.

And these aren’t just:

“Post a picture of a book.”

We’re getting much more creative than that. 😂

Need a little inspiration while you wait for Day 1? Check out my 100 Bookstagram Question of the Day Prompts for even more easy conversation starters you can use for posts, captions and Stories.

What Is the 30 Day Romantasy Bookstagram Challenge?

The challenge is designed to give you an entire month of Bookstagram inspiration without handing you 30 prompts at once and leaving you to figure out what to do with them.

Instead, you’ll receive one challenge each day by email.

Each challenge gives you more than a topic to post about. Depending on the day’s prompt, I’ll give you ideas for:

📚 What to post
📸 Different ways to create it
✍️ Caption inspiration
💬 Questions to get your followers talking
✨ Ideas for Stories, Reels, photos, graphics and carousels

Some challenges are quick and easy.

Others give you an excuse to open Canva and get creative.

And quite a few will probably expose just how questionable our taste in fictional men really is.

Consider yourself warned.

If you’re planning your content for the cozy season, I’ve also put together 24 Fall Bookstagram Ideas filled with autumn inspired content ideas for your feed.

Who Is This Bookstagram Challenge For?

This challenge is especially for romantasy and fantasy romance readers.

If your shelves are filled with fae, dragons, morally gray love interests, forbidden romances, enemies who really need to kiss already, and books with increasingly beautiful sprayed edges…

You’ll fit right in.

You don’t need thousands of followers.

You don’t need an aesthetic feed.

And you definitely don’t need professional photography equipment.

Whether you just started your Bookstagram or you’ve been posting for years and need some fresh inspiration, you can make these prompts your own.

What Kind of Bookstagram Prompts Will You Get?

💘 The Trope You Can Never Resist

We all have at least one.

Maybe you’ll read anything labeled enemies to lovers.

    Maybe it’s forbidden love.

Maybe the words fated mates are enough to immediately get a book onto your TBR.

For this challenge, you’ll turn that weakness into a Bookstagram post and get your followers talking about the tropes they can never resist either.

✨ Show Off Your Prettiest Sprayed Edges

It’s time to pull one of the prettiest books off your shelf.

You’ll show off your favorite sprayed or stenciled edges and ask your followers to share theirs.

    No sprayed edges?

    No problem.

Show off the prettiest cover on your shelf instead.

I’m keeping most of the 30 challenges a surprise because that’s part of the fun.

But I can give you a little preview. 👀
