Books / Genres I Will Highly Consider:
I primarily accept books within the fantasy genre and most of its sub-genres, along with the occasional paranormal romance. Fantasy is my main focus, and I’m always excited to explore new magical worlds, romantasy, epic fantasy, and cozy fantasy stories.

Books / Genres I Might Consider (Not Guaranteed):
Romance, sci-fi and dystopian. These are considered on a case-by-case basis and must strongly align with my reading interests.

Books / Genres I Will Not Accept:
Erotica, fanfiction, picture books, middle grade, horror, mystery, thrillers, and nonfiction titles. I also avoid books with gratuitous vulgar language, graphic violence, or content centered around physical or sexual abuse. In short, anything that leans heavily into fear, brutality, or extreme darkness will be automatically declined.

If your book fits into any of the categories listed above as “will not accept,” the request will be declined without exception.

Formats I Will Accept:
Currently, I only accept physical copies of books for review. Physical books allow me to create higher quality photos and visual content for my blog and social media platforms, which helps promote your book more effectively.

Formats I Will Not Accept:

eBooks
ARCs or galleys in digital format
BookFunnel, NetGalley, BookSirens, or Kindle Unlimited copies

If the book is not available as a physical copy, it will automatically be declined.

Please Note:
Any request that does not meet the genre or format requirements above will be automatically declined. These guidelines are firm and are in place to ensure consistency in the content I create and the quality of promotion I can provide.

Review Timeline & Expectations:
If I accept your book, I will do my best to post a review in a timely manner. However, please understand that I commit to multiple books at a time and I am a strong mood reader. I greatly appreciate being given a preferred date or time frame for when you’d like the review to go live so I can determine if I’m able to meet your needs.

If no date is agreed upon, I will publish the review at my discretion. I always aim to post around release week when possible, unless a different schedule is requested. For already-released books, I will review them as soon as my reading schedule allows. Your patience is truly appreciated.

How You Will Receive My Review & Usage Permission

Once my review is posted, you are welcome to share it on your website, social media, or promotional materials. You may link directly to my review on my blog or screenshot and repost it with proper credit to Booktrovert Reader. I truly appreciate being tagged and mentioned whenever my review is shared, as it helps support my platform and my work.

You also have my permission to link my review on your author website, book landing pages, or press kits. However, I reserve the right to request the removal of my review or any links to it at any time if I feel the surrounding content, presentation, or use does not align with my values, brand, or intentions. Transparency and respectful use of my content are very important to me.

I reserve the right to not finish a book. If this happens, I will contact you directly and no rating or review will be posted. It would not be fair to rate a book I did not complete.

All reviews are honest. Receiving a free copy does not guarantee a positive review. I always write respectfully and professionally, but I will never post a glowing review simply because the book was gifted.
