I’m Charity, the creator behind Booktrovert Reader, and I’ve been blogging, reviewing, and falling in love with fantasy stories since 2019. What started as a personal space to track my reading and share a few thoughts slowly turned into a full-blown passion project where I get to connect with readers who love magic, morally gray characters, and emotionally intense stories as much as I do. Reading has always been my escape, my comfort, and my creative outlet, and this blog became the place where all of that could live together.

Over the years, Booktrovert Reader has grown into a home for fantasy and fantasy romance lovers who want honest, unfiltered opinions. I don’t sugarcoat my reviews, and I don’t read just for hype. I read for feeling. For tension. For characters who ruin your life a little bit and worlds you wish you could step into. I focus heavily on dark romantasy, epic fantasy, and trope-driven stories, and I love breaking down why certain tropes hit so hard—like enemies to lovers, fated mates, shadow daddies, morally gray heroes, and slow-burn obsession.

My goal has never been to convince you to read everything. It’s to help you find the right books for your taste. The ones that match your mood, your energy, and your reading style. Whether you want something feral and intense, cozy and magical, or emotionally devastating, I want this space to help you choose confidently without wasting your time.

I’m naturally introverted, but books give me a voice. Through this blog, I get to share my thoughts, my excitement, my frustrations, and my deep love for storytelling in a way that feels authentic. I believe reading should be joyful, immersive, and a little bit unhinged in the best way. No pressure. No comparison. Just stories that make you feel alive.

If it involves magic, dangerous romance, powerful heroines, or morally questionable men with tragic backstories… I’m probably already reading it.
