What an amazing read.
This fantasy book is set in historical Scotland. And this is also in a male POV. Which is different than what I normally pick up.
What I love about this book is that it is also an older MMC with his wife and several kids. More of a mature MMC who is just in pursuit of his lost family. Healing wounds from misunderstanding and hurt from his wife. Normal stuff that can happen in real life in a marriage.
This has monsters, sea travel, and the Scottish setting. Agh amazing!
