From Drunkenness to Demon-Saving: My Thoughts on ‘That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon’

Wow, this was so good. 

I finally got the Kindle Unlimited membership on Amazon to try out some of the books that they offer. “Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon” by Kimberly Lemming was one of those books that I had my eye on for a while.

This was so good; it didn’t take me long to finish this. Not only because of the length but how this was written.

The book is written in a fantasy-type work but with a rom-com element to it. Which is a nice action-packed and romantic read that I have ever picked up.

This is the type of book I really don’t want to give too much away because of how the plot is developed. There are some twists and turns that make this book super entertaining and refreshing, not over complicated in a fantasy book.

There are some moments where you kind of question why certain things or how in the world did, they end up there. But the book was written in a way that made you enjoy it, and it didn’t matter so much about some plot holes.

The romance is not barf in my mouth where the girl is literally throwing herself on him. She actually fights the attraction and then eventually gives into it in a sweet and romantic way.

I love how That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon was so creative and packed into such a short book. I loved it and would recommend it to so many others. I cannot wait to pick up the second book in the series.
